REYNOLDSVILLE – A Reynoldsville couple are facing animal cruelty charges after authorities rescued over 30 cats and dogs.
According to police, in August of 2024 an investigation was launched into 57 year-old Clifford Small and 59 year-old Colleen Small after receiving reports of over the welfare of cats at their South 3rd Street residence.
After investigating, police discovered 34 cats and two dogs that were covered in fleas.
The couples surrendered the animals, where four of the cats died. They have now been charged with animal cruelty.
