*Update* – Students have been dismissed early with specific instructions for bus or van pickup times.
BROOKVILLE – Brookville Area School District officials say the high school has been evacuated after a note was discovered in the building earlier today.
As a precaution, authorities are currently conducting a search of the building. Students and staff have been safely relocated to Hickory Grove Elementary.
Students at Pinecreek and Northside remain at their campuses. Access to the main campus is currently restricted.
Officials say parents should not attempt to enter the area and the district will release more information as it becomes available.
