UNDATED – Across Pennsylvania, schools are scraping by as the state budget impasse stretches into another month.
With schools across the state dipping into reserve funds just to stay afloat, some administrations are being forced to make tough financial decisions.
When speaking with those at both Brockway and DuBois school districts, they are focusing on smart spending, keeping spending to a minimum until they can regain their state aid.
Lawmakers still remain deadlocked over the state budget, leaving schools uncertain on how long they can hold on.
