CURWENSVILLE – A Curwensville woman will spend up to six years in State Prison for her involvement in the fatal overdose of her father.
We previously reported that 30 year-old Sami McGarry had provided drugs to her father in January 2023 leading him to overdose on fentanyl, ultimately killing him.
After pleading guilty to felony possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and misdemeanor involuntary manslaughter, with multiple letters of recommendation from family members asking for leniency to help her drug problem, McGarry was sentenced to spend between three to six years in State Prison with three years of probation.
