
DUBOIS – The 2025 Kids in Business this past Saturday brought energy, good spirits, and creativity to the DuBois Mall as over 30 young entrepreneurs showcased their skills and ideas.
From 11am to 1pm, local children ran their own booths, selling a variety of baked goods, handmade crafts, and festive items.
As judge and 411 Networking representative Bob Hrin said, this event gave kids real business tasks, like selling items, making change, and sharing the stories behind their products.
“The genius ideas just come out of the blue,“ explained Hrin. “And it’s not just something that you just see every day.”
Just before 1pm the event wrapped up with an awards ceremony judged by a panel of community members, and a special pick by the Sunny106 crew.
