Brockway Man Accused of Stabbing

BROCKWAY – A Brockway man is behind bars after allegedly stabbing another man in the neck.

On August 24th police responded to 1510 East Presqueisle St. in Philipsburg, for reports of a stabbing.

Once on scene police learned from multiple witnesses that 21 year old Noah Fremer had allegedly stabbed a 20 year-old man during a confrontation.

When questioned, Fremer claimed that he acted in self defense when attacked by the victim. 

The victim was taken to Geisinger Medical Center for medical treatment.

Fremer was then taken to jail where he now faces attempted homicide, aggravated assault, terroristic threats, simple assault, and endangering another person charges.
