DUBOIS – The DuBois United Way’s Wing Fling returned with a bang this past Saturday, serving up chicken wings to benefit a local cause.
Nearly 20 vendors donated countless flavors of wings for you to enjoy. At $25 dollars per person this annual fundraiser helps support the United Way’s vision of supporting critical local services.
“It’s very difficult for them to raise the monies that they need,“ explained board member Howie Allen. “But our community comes together every year to really do what’s best for our people.”
This year’s Wing Fling proved to be a flavorful victory helping improve lives across Clearfield, Jefferson, and Elk counties.
