BROCKWAY – Football season returns with the Brockway Rovers’ first game against Punxsutawney this Saturday.
After a remarkable season last year, earning the District 9 championship, the Brockway Rovers are now facing a grueling season with some tough opponents after being moved up to Class 3A.
“It was a hurdle we’ve been working towards for 14 years,“ explained Head Coach Jake Heigel. “I think most of the guys don’t necessarily recall the district championships, they remember losing to Somerset. They don’t really talk about the district championship much, they talk about the loss more so than the win.”
