Penfield Man Accused of Strangling Woman

PENFIELD – A Penfield man is behind bars after allegedly strangling a woman during a domestic dispute.

According to police, on July 30th State Police responded to State Park Road in Penfield for reports of a domestic dispute. Once on scene police learned that 34 year-old Daniel Schwetfeger allegedly got into an argument with a woman then allegedly began to strangle her, police noted red marks around her neck.

When questioning Schwetfeger, he was allegedly acting erratic and did not answer any questions. He was then taken to the Clearfield County Jail for felony strangulation charges.
