FALLS CREEK – Portions of Route 830 in Sandy Township near Falls Creek will be shut down on Wednesday as crews begin to replace a railroad crossing.
Those with PennDOT say that by replacing this structure will improve rail infrastructure, ride quality, and increase safety for motorists.
If you normally take this route, detours will take you onto interstate 80 from the DuBois Regional Airport exit to the DuBois/Brockway exit.
All work is expected to be completed by Friday, weather permitting.
