BROOKVILLE – An Oakdale man is facing multiple charges after allegedly going to Brookville to meet who he thought was a teenage girl for sex.
According to police 51 year-old Jacob Weyers was allegedly in contact with the group 814 Pred Hunters disguised as a 15 year-old girl since June 2nd.
Police say that Weyers had multiple sexual conversations with the “teen” despite knowing that she was a minor. He then allegedly made plans to meet her at the Pacific Pride gas station in Brookville on June 10th where he was met by police and taken into custody.
He was then charged with sexual assault, indecent assault, and corruption of minors. Weyers has since posted bail and is awaiting a July 2nd preliminary hearing.
