NY Man Allegedly Caught with Drugs in Sandy Township

DUBOIS – A New York man is behind bars after a routine traffic stop allegedly revealed multiple drugs last week.

On Monday May 12th police pulled over 56 year-old Gerald Smyczek of Bemus Point, New York on Route 210 for allegedly driving erratically.

When police pulled him over, they allegedly smelled marijuana and when questioned he stated that it was legal in New York.

Police searched the vehicle and allegedly discovered ecstasy pills and cocaine. He was then transported to the Clearfield County Jail for felony drug charges.
