CLEARFIELD COUNTY – A Beccaria Township man is behind bars after he allegedly “pistol whipped” a man before firing a single shot.
On April 11th police responded to reports of an altercation, once on scene they learned that 28 year-old Duane Visnofsky had allegedly confronted a man ultimately hitting him in the face with the butt of the gun before allegedly going outside and firing a single shot into the air.
Police found Visnofsky at a Tyrone Pike residence and took him into custody where they allegedly discovered drug paraphernalia on his person.
He was then sent to the Clearfield County Jail where he faces firearm and drug charges.
