DUBOIS – The proposed 2025-26 budget for the DuBois Area School District is showcasing a downwards trend in the district’s fund balance.
For next year’s proposed budget, total revenue is gaged at 71.5 million with total expenditures around $77.8 million.
School board members say while they do not expect taxes to rise, they need to focus on spending carefully and financial planning before the reserve fund is drained.
The final proposal will be presented in May.
