DUBOIS – The Reitz Theater will be premiering their 2025 season with the musical “Little Women” this weekend.
Based on the novel by Louisa Alcott, as Director Shannon Gibson Says, the play is set in 1865 Massachusetts following the March sisters navigating hardships and growing from children into adulthood.
“Growing up it was always my favorite book, and the movies were always my favorite,“ explained Gibson. “So when pitching the musical I was very excited. The music in it is phenomenal. It’s a very hard musical to do, it’s a lot of pressure on the girls that we have.”
Performances run from February 14th through the 16th and the 20th through the 22nd. You can find more information including opening times on the theater’s website.
