Updated Security Ordinance Proposed for Jefferson County

BROOKVILLE – A proposed ordinance will tighten security in all official Jefferson County buildings. The new measures are being prepared by the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners.

At their most recent meeting, the commissioners approved the advertising of the rules which haven’t been updated for over 10 years.

Commissioner Scott North said the purpose of the ordinance is to protect county employees, as well as residents visiting county buildings.
