
CLEARFIELD – A 20-year-old Clearfield County man has been convicted of severely beating his father, inflicting near-fatal injuries,
On Wednesday, a jury found Noah Brady of Curwensville guilty of felony aggravated assault, two counts of simple assault, and disorderly conduct.
The victim testified that Brady attacked him over text messages he allegedly sent regarding his son’s girlfriend. Brady’s father spent 17 days in a medically-induced coma at Penn Highlands DuBois as he recovered from a massive brain bleed, as well as head, facial, jaw, and eye injuries. In court, Brady claimed that he only punched his father four or five times.
Brady faces a sentence of three to 20 years in prison.
