CLEARFIELD – A Clearfield man has been jailed, and he’s facing multiple charges for allegedly locking a woman in a bedroom and threatening her with a machete.
According to Clearfield Regional Police, 41-year-old Lester Middleworth Jr. assaulted the victim at a Park Street residence on Saturday. Middleworth fled the scene, but police reportedly caught up to him in Hyde and took him to the Clearfield County Jail.
A preliminary hearing on the terroristic threats, simple assault, reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct, and false imprisonment charges charges against Middleworth has not yet been scheduled.
