Bee Line Highway Pipe Project Starting

DUBOIS – A project to replace a failing drainage pipe along the Bee Line Highway in Sandy Township will begin this evening.

According to PennDOT, the impact on traffic flow will be minimized by scheduling the work between 6pm and 6am each day.

The pipe is located just north of the Bee Line Highway’s (Route 255’s) intersection with Shaffer Road near the DuBois Mall. PennDOT officials say traffic will be reduced to a single lane during the project, and flaggers will provide direction when crews are at work.

The pipe replacement project is expected to be complete within three weeks.
