PUNXSUTAWNEY — A total of 118 felony charges have been filed against a Jefferson County man after images of child pornography were allegedly found on his computers.
Police began investigating 55-year-old Roy Ferguson of Punxsutawney nine months ago when they received a cyber tip regarding him uploading child porn photos to a website. Multiple laptop computers were seized by warrant from Ferguson’s home, and police report that more than 100 child porn images have been found.
The preliminary hearing for Ferguson is scheduled for May 18th.
Ferguson’s criminal record reportedly includes a guilty plea in 1996 to charges of indecent exposure.
