DUBOIS – DuBois City Council met for their regular meeting last night, but motions and votes were not allowed due to a procedural miscue. The meeting’s agenda had not being publicly posted at least 24 hours in advance, so a special motion and voting meeting was set for Monday, March 4th.
Discussions at the meeting included the first public announcement of Police Chief Blaine Clark being placed on administrative leave and Shawn McCleary being named Interim Police Chief.
A progress report was also given by those who are organizing and planning the DuBois Days event in June.
It was also reported that the city’s 2022 audit was finalized, and it has been submitted to all the appropriate state agencies.
