DUBOIS – A Clarion woman is jailed in Clearfield County for allegedly spitting at a police officer at Penn Highlands DuBois.
According to court documents, 32-year-old Samantha Yager is facing charges of assault of a police officer and disorderly conduct.
State Police say they took Yager to the DuBois hospital following a disturbance in Jefferson County last Thursday. While at the Penn Highlands emergency room, Yager reportedly became very disruptive, began yelling, and attempted to spit on a DuBois City Police officer.
Yager is being held in the Clearfield County Jail with bail set at $15,000. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for February 9th.
