BROOKVILLE — The Jefferson County Board of Commissioners reorganized last week.
Recently-elected to the commissioner position, Mark Humes was welcomed as the board’s newest member. Commissioner Scott North said they “are looking forward to his service to the people of Jefferson County.” Also during the meeting, North was chosen to serve as chairman of the board while Humes was given the vice chairman appointment. Jefferson County’s third commissioner, Jeff Pisarcik, will be secretary of the board.
The first regular meeting of the commissioners this year is scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, at Jefferson Place in Brookville.
