PUNXSUTAWNEY – A Jefferson County man has been charged with assault and disorderly conduct for allegedly threatening a man with a knife, and punching him in the face.
According to Punxsutawney Borough Police, 56-year-old Warren Hubbard is accused of hitting the victim in the face, and swinging a knife towards him, but not making any contact.
The confrontation took place at a Beyer Avenue apartment complex in Punxsy on December 1st.
The victim told police that Hubbard is the mother of his children’s new boyfriend.
Hubbard is currently free on $10,000 unsecured bail. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for January 4th in Punxsutawney.
