DUBOIS – Completing the Coke Hill waterline project will not cost DuBois taxpayers any additional money.
Tuesday night, DuBois City Council approved a resolution to request Statewide Local Share Assessment grant funds for the new waterline’s installation in the Coke Hill neighborhood.

City Council also approved the vacation of a portion of Fairway Street on DuBois’ east side during Tuesday night’s meeting.
An 80-foot section of the unused alley south of East Sherman Avenue will be officially vacated for any public use and will be turned over to adjacent property owners.
Council moved to permit City Solicitor Toni Cherry to draft an ordinance for the vacation.
