BROCKWAY – Nearly 10 months after allegedly firing a gun to scare someone, a 60-year-old Jefferson County man is now facing assault and stalking charges.

State Police say Michael Yocum of Brockway is accused of firing a .22 caliber weapon in a Washington Township home in April last year. Yocum reportedly was trying to scare a victim into leaving the Beechtree Road residence during an altercation. Police say no one was hurt, but bullet holes were reportedly found at the scene.

Yocum’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 28th.
