Shotgun stolen in Ridgway break-in

Ridgway, PA – A shotgun was stolen in a break-in in Elk County.

Someone broke into a residence on Grant Road in Ridgway on either Oct. 21 or 22, entering through a front door that had been damaged in an incident a few weeks prior.

Once inside, the unknown person took a J.C. Higgins bolt action 16-gauge shotgun, worth about $100.

The victim is listed as an 83-year-old man from New Jersey.
