Brookville, PA – More details are coming out about a traffic stop in Brookville that led to a DuBois man getting caught with drugs, a large amount of money, drug paraphernalia, counterfeit cash, and a stolen firearm.
Brookville Borough Police now say that they’ve filed charges against both 34-year-old Justin Zeruth and 34-year-old Felicia Sullivan, both from DuBois, who had been in the pickup truck on May 24.
Police originally pulled them over for a broken brake light, but they found that Zeruth was driving on a suspended license and both he and his passenger were in possession of marijuana.
When police searched the vehicle, they say they found a wide variety of marijuana and THC products, such a THC butter and jelly beans. In total, police seized 11 packages of marijuana, 51 packages of candies containing controlled substances, various waxes/pastes/butters containing Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), various drug trafficking equipment, over $1,080 in drug trafficking funds, counterfeit $100 bills, and a Smith and Wesson M&P Bodyguard .380 pistol that is registered to a woman who told police it had been stolen.
They also say they found what appeared to be a ledger with a list of potentially who they had sold to and who owed money.
The passenger, Sullivan, faces only some drug-related misdemeanor charges.
Zeruth, however, faces a larger list of offenses, including felony charges for receiving stolen property, possession of a prohibited firearm, forgery, and manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver drugs.
Preliminary hearings will be held on July 6.
