UNDATED – You could soon see a significant increase in your natural gas bill.
National Fuel is looking to increase their rates by a total of 18.46 percent, raising the average gas bill to over $160 dollars a year.
If the company’s proposal is accepted by the Pennsylvania Utilities Commission, they would plan on the rate increase to begin in August.
National Fuel stated the reasoning behind the increase is due to the high costs of supplying natural gas.
