DUBOIS – A Kane woman is going to spend the next seven to 15 years in State Prison for her role in the overdose death of a DuBois man.
We previously reported that 30 year-old Samantha Gustafson, had provided 33 year-old Matthew Meholic with a deadly dose of heroin.
She has now pleaded guilty to multiple felony level charges, including drug delivery resulting in death, criminal conspiracy-possession with intent to deliver, and criminal use of a communication facility, where she was sentenced to state prison for seven to 15 years.
Since her incarceration, Gustafson has reportedly tried bettering herself, including writing an apology letter to the victim’s family and attending counseling sessions.
