UNDATED – If you drive through Ridgway or St. Marys, you could soon see smoother and safer trips.
According to State Representative Mike Armanini, over $200,000 dollars in state Green Light-Go grants is headed to the two municipalities to modernize traffic signals at busy intersections.
Ridgway will receive just over $100,120 dollars for upgrades along Main Street at the intersections of Montmorenci Avenue/Gillis Avenue, Elk Avenue, Mill Avenue and North Broad Street/South Broad Street.
St Marys will get 100,800 dollars to improve signals downtown, near Tractor Supply, at the St. Marys Area Middle and High School entrance, and other high-traffic locations across the city.
