UNDATED – A local Congressman is backing a new effort to recognize the volunteers who help strengthen communities.
Congressman Glenn “GT” Thompson alongside Congressman Jimmy Panetta have introduced a bipartisan resolution to designate the week of September 6th as Celebrate Community Week.
Thompson says this recognizes organizations like Kiwanis, Rotary, Lions, and Optimist clubs and the volunteers in your community who give their time to help others.
