DUBOIS – Close to 40 young entrepreneurs showcased their creativity and business skills at Sunny106’s Kids in Business over the weekend, with fifth-grader Savannah Hoover taking home the Best Overall Award for her wood-burning business, Hoover’s Woodburning.
Hoover sold hats and wooden coasters etched by hand, with many loving the business’s western and woodsy theme.
“It makes me feel really good and I think I did really good,” Hoover said.

Most Creative Idea: The BARK-ery – Liam Minns
Best Homemade Treat: Five Busy Bees – Olivia Reith, Henry Reith, and Finley Reith
The Sunny Award was taken home by Alba’s Little Breads.
