DUBOIS – Juniata Elementary School students have raised over $10,000 dollars for Make-A-Wish during their fifth annual Duck Derby.
Students had people “adopt” rubber ducks for five dollars each, those ducks are then placed along Juniata Run and race downstream with prizes for the top three finishers.
This year, Juniata students raised over $10,000 dollars with over 2,000 ducks sold, granting two wishes for kids in need. We will unveil the total value Juniata raised during our Make-A-Wish coverage on Sunny106.
