UNDATED – A piece of legislation that would certify dogs to detect fentanyl and other dangerous drugs is headed to the Governor’s desk to become law.
House Bill 1344, introduced by State Representative Mike Armanini, would establish certification standards for law enforcement K-9 units to detect fentanyl and other drugs.
Now, the bill has been approved by the Senate and heads to the Governor’s desk to be signed into law.
