ST MARYS – A St. Marys couple is facing additional charges after allegedly injuring a five week-old child ending in a trip to the emergency room.
We previously reported that 23 year-old Ian Sobrino and 19 year-old Tasha Ford were imprisoned after bringing the child with multiple injuries to the emergency room.
After more investigation, police learned the child had 11 broken bones and 14 bruising spots all in different stages of healing.
When questioned, Sobrino and Ford allegedly admitted to fighting over the child trying to pull the infant from each other before noticing the broken arm and taking the child to the emergency room.
Now they are facing aggravated assault, endangering the welfare of a child, simple assault, and other related charges.
