ST MARYS – A St. Marys couple is behind bars after bringing their 5 month-old child to the emergency room with several injuries.
According to police, on May 2nd officers investigated a report of child abuse at Penn Highlands Elk.
During investigation police learned that the child had several injuries including a broken arm, fractured wrist, and bruising all over the body.
When questioned, 23 year-old Ian Sobrino and 19 year-old Tasha Ford initially denied intentionally hurting the child.
Both were taken into custody and transported to the Elk County Jail, where they face child endangerment charges.
