LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP – Two people have been jailed after allegedly attempting to steal from a Lawrence Township Business.
On September 2nd police responded to Rural King at 260 Plaza Drive for a theft in progress.
Once on scene police discovered 39 year-old Michael Elvey II and Wilbur McConnell Jr were allegedly attempting to steal over $2,500 dollars worth of merchandise.
Police also say that McConnell had marijuana on his person.
Both have been sent to the Clearfield County Jail for retail theft and drug charges.
