DUBOIS – Legal counsel for the City of DuBois has provided a few details on why Police Chief Blaine Clark has been placed on administrative leave.

At Monday night’s city council meeting, Solicitor Thomas Breth said a complaint was filed against Clark. That complaint is now being handled by the Clearfield County District Attorney’s Office, and Clark has retained legal counsel in the matter. Breth also noted that an internal investigation is underway.

It was also announced at Monday’s meeting that a formal resolution is being drafted to officially terminate the employment of Herm Suplizio as City Manager. The resolution will be presented at the March 11th meeting for council to consider.
