In the Majors All Star baseball tournament, DuBois will be facing Bradford Thursday evening in a winners bracket game. You can listen to and watch the game on Tri-County – dot – TV.
The DuBois Junior All-Star softball team takes on Brookville later today. A win by the DuBois All-Stars would secure a District 10 championship.
The DuBois Minors softball All-Stars defeated Brookville Tuesday evening, 26-3, at Heindl Field in DuBois. Next for DuBois is a championship match up with St. Marys later today.
Pittsburgh Pirates:
The Pittsburgh Pirates got punched by the Philadelphia Phillies last night, 8-0.
The third game of the Pirates’ four-game series in Philadelphia will be tonight. Listen for the Bucs-Phillies pregame show at 6:15 this evening. The first pitch is scheduled for 6:40pm on Connect FM.
Altoona Curve:
The Pirates’ Double-A affiliate Altoona Curve snapped a four-game losing skid as they posted a 12-8 win over the Portland Sea Dogs last night. Altoona’s six-game Eastern League series in Maine continues this afternoon with a 12:05 start time.
Pittsburgh Steelers:
It’s July, and the Pittsburgh Steelers will begin their 2026 Training Camp at St. Vincent College in Latrobe four weeks from today. Steelers Training Camp will run from July 28th through August 17th. Pittsburgh’s first preseason game is set for August 13th when the Steelers host the Packers at Acrisure Stadium.
