Pittsburgh Pirates:
The Pittsburgh Pirates are red hot. The Bucs have won four straight games, and nine of their last dozen. The latest Pirates win was over the White Sox in Chicago, 2-0, last night.
The Bucs stay in Chicago and face the Cubs their next three games starting this afternoon. The Pirates pregame show starts at 1:55, and the first pitch is scheduled for 2:20. Listen for Pirates baseball on Connect FM.
Altoona Curve:
The Pirates’ Double-A affiliate Altoona Curve are riding a five-game win streak after sweeping a double-header from the Akron Rubber Ducks on Thursday, 6-3 and 5-4. The Curve season is down to the final three games. Altoona and Akron will play at PNG Field this evening at 6.
