The Pittsburgh Penguins find themselves down two games in their first round Stanley Cup Playoffs series against Philadelphia. The best-of-seven Pens-Flyers series moves across the state to Philly tonight. Game three of the series has an opening puck drop time of 7pm. DuBois Central Catholic 16, Kane 0 – Lady Cardinals’ pitcher Rylee Kulbatsky tossed another no-hitter while striking out 14 Kane batters. At the plate, DCC got production in the form of home runs by Lily Sachs and Lizzy Green. Green drove in three Lady Cardinal runs.

Penn State-DuBois Baseball and Softball:
The Penn State-DuBois baseball team notched a 5-1 win over Penn State-Shenango Tuesday. The Lions record improved to 22-and-4 overall. On Friday, Penn State-DuBois will face Penn State-Beaver on the road for a double-header.
The Penn State-DuBois softball team, with their overall season record now at 13-and-12, is scheduled to play at Penn State-Beaver today.
Pittsburgh Pirates:
The Pittsburgh Pirates lost to the Texas Rangers last night, 5-1.
Game two of the Bucs’ series in Texas is tonight with the first pitch scheduled for 8:05.
Altoona Curve:
The Pirates’ double-A affiliate, Altoona Curve, continue to struggle. Altoona’s record dipped to 2-and-14 last night when the Curve lost in Harrisburg, 5-4. Today, the Curve-Senators game has a 12 Noon start time in Harrisburg.
