District 10 Little League Baseball and Softball All-Star Tournaments:
In the District 10 Little League Majors All-Star baseball tournament, DuBois will be facing Bradford at 6 this evening in a winners bracket matchup . You can listen to and watch the game on Tri-County – dot – TV.
The DuBois Minors baseball All-Stars will be in action on Monday. DuBois will take on Bradford in a losers bracket game.
The DuBois Junior All-Star softball team claimed the District 10 championship Wednesday with a 7-5 victory over Brookville. DuBois advances to the sectional tournament in Corry which begins on Tuesday.
The DuBois Minors softball All-Stars fell to St. Marys-Fox Township Wednesday evening by a score of 4-1.
Pittsburgh Pirates:
The Pittsburgh Pirates dropped a 10-6 decision to the Philadelphia Phillies last night.
The final game of the Pirates’ four-game series in Philadelphia is this afternoon. Listen for the Bucs-Phillies pregame show at 12:10 today. The first pitch is scheduled for 12:35 this afternoon on Connect FM.
Altoona Curve:
The Pirates’ Double-A affiliate Altoona Curve got nipped by the Portland Sea Dogs Wednesday afternoon, 7-6. Altoona will play game three of its Eastern League series with Portland in Maine this evening at 6.
Pittsburgh Steelers:
The Pittsburgh Steelers will begin their 2026 Training Camp at St. Vincent College in Latrobe at the end of this month. Steelers Training Camp is scheduled to run from July 28th through August 17th. Pittsburgh’s first preseason game is set for August 13th at Acrisure Stadium. The Steelers will host the Packers. The first regular season game is also at home for Pittsburgh against the Atlanta Falcons on September 13th.
