DuBois Little League Baseball and Softball All-Star Tournaments:
Wednesday evening, the DuBois Junior All-Star softball team notched a 4-0 win over Radnor-Wayne in the state tournament in Corry. DuBois is now scheduled to take on the host team, Corry, at 8 tonight.
The DuBois 9 to 11 year-old baseball All-Stars are making their way through the sectional tournament in Fairview. On Tuesday, DuBois upended Meadville, 7-1. Last night, DuBois doubled up FLAG, 12-6. The DuBois All-Stars will next play in the tourney’s championship round Friday evening.
The DuBois Little League Majors All-Star baseball team will be playing in the sectional tournament in Meadville this weekend. The first game for the DuBois Little Leaguers will be Saturday at 1pm against the FLAG Little League All-Stars.
The DuBois Junior Little League baseball All-Stars will once again be the host team for the East Region Tournament. It begins on Saturday, July 25th. The first game for DuBois is scheduled for 5pm on the 25th against Rhode Island.
Pittsburgh Pirates:
The Pittsburgh Pirates are wrapping up their All-Star game break, and will resume regular season action on Friday.
The Bucs play in Cleveland Friday evening. Tune in for the Pirates-Guardians pregame show at 6:45 tomorrow evening. The first pitch is set for 7:10pm on Connect FM.
Altoona Curve:
The Pirates’ Double-A affiliate Altoona Curve resumes regular season action tomorrow with the start of a three-game weekend series at Reading. Friday night’s first pitch is set for 7pm. The Curve have two more months of Eastern League baseball left to play.
