PINE TOWNSHIP – A Clearfield man has been jailed after a traffic stop led to a DUI and warrant arrest.
On July 18th police pulled over a Jeep on Route 322 in Pine Township for driving without headlights at night.
Police say that the driver, 50 year-old Jason Pentz of Clearfield, showed signs of impairment and had a strong odor of alcohol.
Troopers placed Pentz into custody for DUI where they learned he had an active arrest warrant out of Clearfield for a previous DUI. He is now at the Clearfield County Jail for the warrant as the DUI case is under investigation.
