DuBois Little League Baseball All-Star Tournaments:
The DuBois Little League Majors All-Star baseball team is still alive in the sectional tournament in Meadville. The DuBois Little Leaguers faced against FLAG once again Monday afternoon in a high scoring 12-6 game
After being postponed yesterday, DuBois will take on French Creek in an elimination game tonight at 6pm, if they win, they play again at 8pm for the championship. You can catch all the action live on Tri-County – dot – TV.
The DuBois 9 to 11 year-old baseball All-Stars advanced to the state tournament in Selinsgove. Their first game will be Thursday morning at 9.
This weekend, the DuBois Junior Little League baseball All-Stars will be the host team for the East Region Tournament. The City of DuBois is the host site of this year’s tournament which begins on Saturday. The first game for DuBois is scheduled for 5pm Saturday against the Rhode Island All-Stars.
Pittsburgh Pirates:
The Pittsburgh Pirates Pittsburgh started their three game bout in New York against the Yankees losing out 5-8.
After being rescheduled, the Pirates play twice today, once at 1:05 and at 7:05, you can tune in for tonight’s Pirates-Yankees pregame show on Connect FM.
Altoona Curve:
The Pirates’ Double-A affiliate Altoona Curve played their first of six games against Akron last night, squeezing out an 8-7 victory. Game two is tonight at 6:35pm.
