UNDATED – Multiple tornadoes touched down locally Saturday.
According to the National Weather Service a tornado touched down in Summerville then continued north of Punxsutawney.
Another tornado had a confirmed touchdown in Whiteside, near Houtzdale. Classified as an EF-1 and winds reaching 110 miles an hour, it touched down on Hale Road and traveled for roughly two minutes.
The National Weather Service was scheduled to perform a storm survey on Sunday, but has not released their findings at this time.
