UNDATED – A piece of legislation that would certify dogs to detect fentanyl and other dangerous drugs has now been signed into law.
Former House Bill 1344, introduced by State Representative Mike Armanini, establishes certification standards for law enforcement K-9 units to detect fentanyl and other drugs.
Now, the bill has been approved by the Senate and signed into law by the Governor.
