STATE COLLEGE – A 21-year-old Clearfield County man is facing assault and drug charges after he reportedly assaulted an emergency responder in an ambulance Friday night.
State Police say Aaron Myers repeatedly pushed an EMT who was trying to strap him onto a gurney. Myers is also accused of causing more than $5,000 in damages to the ambulance by breaking a window, damaging doors, medical equipment, and radios during his rampage.
Police allege that drug paraphernalia and suspected marijuana was found on Myers when he was taken into custody.
Myers is jailed in Centre County charged with aggravated assault on a first responder, simple assault, criminal mischief, harassment, and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bail is set at $100,000.
