UNDATED – A statewide cell phone ban in schools is moving closer to reality.
Both the Pennsylvania House and Senate have now passed legislation that would require schools to enforce a bell-to-bell restriction on student cell phone use.
With support from both parties, if enacted this would keep phones out of student’s hands keeping them engaged during school hours.
Some districts locally have already begun similar enforcement policies.
